The Chevron Houston Marathon & Aramco Houston Half Marathon on Sunday, January 16, 2022 marks 50 years of one of America's favorite marathons! The Houston Marathon offer participants a unique running experience in America's fourth largest city. The fast, flat, scenic single-loop course has been ranked as the "fastest winter marathon" and "second fastest marathon overall" by Ultimate Guide To Marathons. It's also ranked as one of the most crowd-supported marathon.


If you prefer shorter distances, we also have entries for the We Are Houston 5K, which takes place Saturday, January 15, 2022.

If you prefer not to fundraise for a charity entry, you can purchase a HERO entry into the half or full marathon by making a one-time donation of $350 to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy plus the registration fee ($125 for the half marathon and $140 for the full marathon).

You will receive a guaranteed entry, custom back bib, tech cap, access to private pre-race bathrooms, and much more!  Most importantly, you will be helping a great cause and running for a reason! 

At EXPO, there will be a special kiosk for runners to pick up their Run for a Reason charity packet. Be sure to pickup this packet for all of your HERO perks!
