Getting Started

Participating in an endurance event or other race is a big commitment, and we’re here to make the experience as easy as possible for you! Setting up your personal fundraising page takes just a few minutes and allows your friends and family to donate with just a few clicks of a button. Donations made online will automatically appear on your fundraising page and the donor will receive an electronic tax receipt from PPMD. There is nothing left for you to do but thank them!

Follow these simple steps to set up your page and access all of the tools you'll need in your Participant Center.

Donors who wish to support you by check can print out this donation form and mail it to our office (our address is on the form). We’ll add the donation to your fundraising page as soon as possible and mail them a receipt. We discourage you from sending cash in the mail or from converting cash donations to your personal checks. To comply with IRS guidelines we can only receipt the donor who wrote the check. Please ask any supporters who want a tax receipt to donate directly to your page online or to write us a check themselves.

How do I set up my personal fundraising page?

Setting up your page is easy and should only take a few minutes! It’s important to personalize your page and tell the story of why you’ve joined Race to End Duchenne so people are inspired to give. Adding a photo helps too! Follow these simple instructions for setting up your page, and contact us if you need help or have questions.

I registered myself and another person for an event. How do I obtain the other person’s login information?

Contact us and we can help you retrieve the login information for any other participants you may have registered.

Can I share a fundraising page with another participant?

Sometimes it’s easier for partners, parents, children, etc., to share one fundraising page and that’s fine with us! Please just let us know that you’re doing this so we can track your fundraising progress accordingly, and be sure to adjust the fundraising total on the page you’re using so it reflects the new combined fundraising commitments. To adjust your fundraising goal, log into your Participant Center and click on “change” underneath your goal amount.

How can I keep track of my fundraising?

Keeping track of your fundraising is easily done in your Participant Center! Once you are logged into your Participant Center, click on the Progress tab to see a list of your donors and your fundraising progress. You can also change your fundraising goal here by clicking “change” just underneath your goal amount.

What is an offline gift?

Offline gifts are donations made by check or by calling the PPMD office to provide a credit card. They are not donations received online. PPMD will enter offline donations onto your fundraising page as we receive them. If you’d like a full report of your offline donors following your race just let us know and we’d be happy to send you one!

How do I know if an offline gift has been made in support of my efforts?

PPMD will add any offline gifts we receive to your page as soon after we receive them as possible. Check your page regularly to see if new donations have been added. If there is ever a question about an offline donation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Where do I send checks?

When mailing checks please include the runner’s name and the race they are participating in so we know where to credit the donation. Checks may be sent to:
