Stop Consolidation of Duchenne Programs at CDC

Dear [Decision Maker],

I am contacting you today about Presidents 2013 budget that consolidates disability programs supported through the
National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) at the CDC.

I ask you to sign onto the letter being circulated by Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS) and Senator Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) asking the CDC Director to postpone consolidation until CDC can evaluate the impact these proposed changes will have on the disability community. The deadline to sign has been extended to Friday, July 20th.

The work CDC has done has lead to better care for patients, adding years to an already shortened life. We cannot stop this progress.

Thank you for your support. I hope you will considering signing this critical letter.
