2009 Advocacy Action Alert

We need your help today! Please contact your two US Senators. The deadline for the Senate letter is this friday, May 8th!

PPMD is asking that you make a phone call today!

The deadline for Members of the US Senate to sign our funding letter is this Friday, May 8th. So please make every effort to contact both Senators one last time and ask that they support our fight against muscular dystrophy by signing onto the letter being circulated bySenator Roger Wicker and Senator Sherrod Brown (click here to read the "Dear Colleague").  We are asking that everyone continue to reach out to their contacts on the Hill and to offices who have supported us in the past, to make sure we get as many co-signers as we can. Please try to do this by Friday, May 8th.

Here are the materials you will need to make that call:

Prior to calling, take a moment to check out our Senate score cards, the score cards will help you see how well your legislators have supported our legislative agenda in the past.

Feel free to also send an email to your Senators:

PPMD is also requesting your support through an email Action Alert. With just a few clicks tell your members of Congress that you want them to support increased funding for Duchenne research and education. Take action now!

This simple one step alert will automatically send our message to your Senators and Representatives and will also allow you to forward the message to friends and family who may also want to support our Advocacy Agenda. Thank you so much for taking the time to support these very important initiatives.

We appreciate your help and will keep you informed on our progress of these issues in Washington, DC.
