In Memory of Gunnar Listerman
On November 17, 2012 at 9 AM, family members and friends will be participating in a 5K run/walk at Stonehill Village, Beavercreek, OH to benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy in memory of Gunnar Listerman.
Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD) is a non for profit organization dedicated to families with sons affected with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is the most common fatal genetic disorder diagnosed in childhood, affecting approximately 1 in every 3,500 live male births (about 20,000 new cases each year). Duchenne results in progressive loss of muscle strength, which leads to serious medical problems, particularly issues relating to the heart and lungs.
